Once it gets down that low you will extend the life of the battery by bringing is back to full. Since you are heading out in a couple of days, if your tow charges the battery, I wouldn't bother with the generator...

You should not let your battery get below 12.1, or even spend a lot of time there. That is about 50% charged.

If you are leaving in a few days, and can charge on the road, it's not a big deal to charge it now, but charge it soon and don't run it down any further. You'll have to charge it while driving, or it will be too low to use when you arrive.

I may be that your tow vehicle can charge it , but it may not. You may need to put it on a battery charger.

Thanks everyone for your input. I charged the battery with my generators for about a hr and a half and it’s now staying at 12.53.
