The perris pacer offroad

Mild off-roading, well technically rough unmaintained forest roads.

The lift, and new springs performed flawlessly.

Nice rig. You can have a lot of fun with those two. What is the ground clearance on the egg? How far have you taken it off road?

Great rig for NM. I would love to look under it. I'm building a back country type rig myself.

This type of thing is why I did not weld the center support to the floor when I did the axle swap on my Scamp 16. For those that do not know, the Scamp factory used the axle tube to support the center of the floor by welding a little tab to it. Since the new axle was bolted on I could not bring myself to weld the center support so I made a little "hat" out of angle iron to sit on the "diamond" (square turned on edge) of the new axle and welded tabs to that to support the floor. If I want to raise the trailer I just need some blocks on each side and a little extension in the middle, and some 15' rims & tires. And maybe my old 1968 Chevy 4X4 truck out of the barn to pull it!

Thanks everybody, yes the trailer went both up and down that incline, but wasn't willing to stop the momentum to take pics, lol.

The bumper and the tounge are sitting at 20" with the 13 inch tires. The plan is to go to 15", now that all seems well, i will switch to a set of 15" steelies and make sure it tows as well. Then order a set of outlaws to match the jeep.

We got into roads with 10-12" washouts and jutted rocks coming up. Kind of fun working my way thru, not only picking the lines for the jeep, but minding the lines of the trailer tires to avoid hitting the axle. Next step is to make the tounge jack quick release ( dont care for side mount swing aways). Also contimplating a skid pan slidder infront of axle.
