All Things Burro - eBook

As I am nearing the completion of my Burro Resto Mod, I wanted to make a little Shutterfly book to keep with the camper to show the restoration. I then thought I might include a little history and a few of the brochures I had. Next thing you know, it started getting pretty big, so I have abandoned the Shutterfly book idea and now am thinking of making an pdf eBook.

I figured I would work on sections of the book. When I finish a section, I will post here to get comments, feedback, and additional information I may have missed.

When I get all the section complete and reviewed, I will share as one document.

The first section I have covers what little I could find on the history of Burro.

Please feel free to contribute additional information, comments, or make corrections.

I own a 17 ft wide body made in Escondido Ca, It is very well made! I understand the east side manufacturer make kits for self built models which may be the reason some trailers are less than standard quality. I also understand the Escondido molds were destroyed when California imposed new regulations.

I'm glad you like yours. I would really like to have an Escondido wide body.

I think Escondido also offered kits (at least I have a brochure that says it does).

My understanding was that the molds were never in the US. They stayed in Mexico to avoid regulations. The shells were just shipped to the US for assembly??? However, I have no proof of this.

Help with Upload

I'm not too computer savvy. Already running into upload file limits. What is the best way to post updates to this book for comments? For now, I am just posting updates on the Burro Facebook page.

Been looking at pictures posted to the forum and came up on this one that says it's a cloud but looks like a Burro. I wonder what, if any, connection there is between the two.
