How can you add a second wall and an extra foot yet weigh the same as before? Is the new door that much lighter?
Just a thought. Supposedly it's all fiberglass, no wood in the floor, correct? Perhaps the honeycomb floor is lighter than a wood counterpart?

You could be right Lyle, hadn't thought of that.
Thanks

From what I can see the only exterior updates are the hatch, hinges, door, door latch, tail lights, and location of the hot water heater.
I would be interested in knowing where they put that extra foot!
I was at the Atlanta show yesterday and asked about the extra foot. They said it would be added to the tung and it would hold a storage box.

I've never had an attached awning. Why would there be odors under the awning?

When the side table is set as a table - there is no back support in the design. As a single bed I think it is 7 feet long which is great.
Wow, you must have gotten there early because when I went on Saturday, the Parkliner was swamped with people.

I wonder if the no-wood-in-the-floor reduces the weight. The only wood in the new unit is cabinet doors. Cabinet bodies are fiberglass too.

That makes two of us. I was looking for a bigger galley. Someday, when it's just down to my wife and me, I will probably decide I am done lugging and setting up an outdoor kitchen. I like the Scamp 16 side bath layout because it actually has some open counter space.
FWIW, Tom told me they were going to glass covered, flush sink (fold-down spigot) and cooktop, which might free up some room. He sent me over to the Airstream Basecamp for a look at similar.
