No cabinet support in my 1976 Boler

Just purchased a 1976 Boler 1300. Looking forward to renovating the original interior to 21st Century standards. There is no support between the kitchen counter top and the upper cabinets. Doesn't look like there ever was one. Shouldn't it be there for roof support?

I have the same trailer and there never was a support bracket between the counter and cupboards. If you are going to load up with heavy items in the cupboards, then a support is a good idea but in a Boler, keep it light and tight and you will not need brackets.

Thanks for the reply. So, no worries about the roof as long as we keep light stuff in the cupboards
