Cabinets

Keep original screws. Hard to find right size for replacement.

New curtains, removed brown pinstriping

Curtains (8) made from 2 standard panels, left over material for 2 small pillows! Easily removed brown pinstriping around cabinet boxes. Just peeled the ugly stuff off.

So cute!

Karen,
This looks terrific. Love everything you did -- particularly the curtains and the painted cabinets! It will be so comfortable to back to after a day out and about!

Thanks, Susan! I got lots of inspiration from this forum and Pintrest. Went to our first rally this weekend and Scampers are the best! Made new friends. It's a whole community!

Thanks, Cathy! Think I picked that up at Target. It will need to be cut about a foot on the bottom to be functional as its too long but looked good for the rally we attended in Sebring, FL this past weekend.

Thanks, Jay! I almost went gloss white to match the cabinets, but glad I rolled the dice and used a little color. Will have to wait and see if the chalk paint and wax are durable enough for the long haul-

Thanks for all the encouraging words! The cabinets were really the most time consuming. I'm not as "artsy" as some people so this really pushed my creative skills to the limit, but I'm pretty happy with them. Other paints might have been more durable but I liked the matte look, low gloss of the chalk paint and the no prep. The wax over the paint has to "cure" 30 days before it will provide the protection it's supposed to so have to be careful until then.
