Battery bonair oxygen

Hi! did you install a battery on your oxygen? Does the battery charge when the caravan is connected to the 110 volt? Thé battery must be installed on the pole of the trailer? Thanks

Hello .... The 6 volt deep cycle battery is mounted on the tongue of the trailer directly in front of the propane tanks . The inverter converts the 110 shore power to 12 volt which charges the battery when shore power is in use ...... If the tow vehicle is properly wired the battery is charged when the trailer is plugged into the vehicle .... need to be careful to disconnect the trailer from the vehicle when boondocking AND remember to set the switches located in the access panel(port side , forward) to the correct position( 12 volt or 110) ......... Enjoy !! Hope this helps ... jp

This might help. I believe the left side is the vehicle the right side is the trailer.

I have to back up to the first sentence here. Are you talking about a single 6 volt battery or a pair? Not going to get 12V out of one 6V battery.

Great Diagram ....... The charging wire is run directly from the car battery , through a fuse and wired into the plug-in as shown on the diagram ........... have fun !! jp

I was wondering the same thing. I just assumed you meant two.
