New Fiber Stream Tires

Anybody switch to a ST145R12, LT145R12, or 145R12 commercial tire to replace the 5.80 x 12 ?? Need to do ASAP!
Thanks!
Dave in Baltimore MD

14" wheels & tires won't fit unless you raise the trailer high enough to move the axles farther apart.

13" wheels and tires j-u-s-t fit; an owner in Oregon switched to them years ago... but that brings the tires within 1-1/2 inches of each other at their center-line... leaving no room for any commercially made chocking system that goes between the tires, and brings the tire very close to the edge of the wheel well.

Oops! mea culpa.

I misread the sizes you stated.
I have not seen those tires you mentioned available here in California. I can only get 4.80 x 12 or 5.30 x 12

The 145 refers to the width of the tire at its widest point, when it is mounted on the rim and inflated. Width is measured in millimeters.
145 MM = 5.704 inches. A 580 X 12 is pretty darn close. Should work fine.
