1975 Trillium - Rock Guard - Hold down latch - needs replacing

Just when you think that all is going well on your reno - You twist something and it breaks ;-)

Today I broke the drivers side, rock guard, latch, that keeps the rock guard securely attached to the 1975 Trillium as it tags behind my truck..

I have attached a pic of the passenger side latch for reference..

Any suggestions as to where I might procure this item or a technique that I can substitute for the original will be appreciated ;-)

Please tell me if the picture was attached..

This is my first time attempting to attach a pic and while I thought that I did everything correct - I do not see the pic on my screen.. So if you have any advice as to how to ensure that the pic gets attached - I am all ears ;-)

Chris, I am sorry to say, I would be very surprised if you can find the part new. There are two latches on classic Trilliums. It depends on the style of rock guard. Please take a look at this link:
http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...ons-68527.html

The older style locked from the inside, the newer ones had a hook from the outside.

Either way, I suspect you will need to fabricate something.
