I finally talked myself into putting my 78
Burro up
for sale $4500, about 30 minutes north of Ann Arbor MI. Body, floor and frame in good condition, all solid. The door was 2/3rd delaminated when I acquired it. I did my best to repair it, but could not get the correct arc, as visible in photo. Foam rubber does an adequate job of filling the gap with minimal rain entry.
I also added a deadbolt when doing door repairs. I have been using it for winter camping while backcountry skiing, so the interior is nothing special. Pretty much the standard stuff inside except I removed the frig, and installed a
propane gravity
furnace (no fan, no electric use). My way of mounting this
furnace is not pretty, but for one guy during the cold months its been ok for me. Also 2 burner stove and gas lantern (scary but it will work). Water supply lines to sink are gone. All
lights, exterior and interior are recently rewired and work. LED interior
lights and taillight/turnsignals. AC/DC convertor is 3 years old. Cushions are in decent shape. I think I am missing the table pedestal mounting bracket that installs onto floor. Trailer has electric
brakes,
Tires are 2 years old with less then 1000 miles on them. I will attach some photos of the interior in the next few days. I have to get all my winter camping stuff out first.
