1977 Trillium Fuse Plug Holder

Got a problem when I lost my fuse plug holder which plugs a 15A fuse into my power converter. I now have no power. Does anyone have one of these or know where I can get one. They are square in shape and have a long 15A fuse that springs into it.

most of these can be replaced by a standard fuse holder, or a mini breaker which are available at radio shack, or any electronics part store, just make sure it's rated for the appropriate voltages and currents

Fuse plug holder

Thanks for your reply Joe I managed to pick up a standard 250 V 15 amp fuse holder at Princess auto. I'm not sure if it has to be re-wired or not.
Have you ever done one of these? Can anyone provide some insight on this?

The leads may be soldered on, or may be n quick tabs, either way, there will only be two wires, the placement n the fuseholder doesn't matter. If they have to be soldered, heat the tab first until elder will melt n it, then the same with the lead you are going to put n. Make sure the solder is sucked right into the wire. Then heat the tab again until the solder melts, push the wire through the hole, add a bit more elder, then let it cool

Existing fuse holder

Thanks Joe for all the tips given. How does the current fuse lock in place
It pushes in springs back out and just sits loose.
Shouldn't it lock in the hole instead of sitting loose

Push the fuse down in the holder and twist the cap to lock.

Fuse plug holder 77 Trillium

You can push it in and it is square so it cannot be twisted. Im not sure how or if they are supposed to lock in place or just sit there loose.
Any ideas folks. It is blue in colour.

I am hoping AGRECO can show us a picture of what he is dealing with. It may be the same evil fuse issue.

its probably something like this:

when you push on the front where it says fuse, it will release, when you re-insert there is a little tab on the front that will catch and hold it in place

here's a link from a PD converter manual, you can see it's the same style fuse holder:
