Garage Queen Boler

Just picked up this baby in Windsor from widow who had it in her garage for past 15 or 16 years! New paint and the rest to come!

Wow, love it! Way nicer than the Boler 13 I picked up in Windsor a few years ago.

No need to paint. You can just scrub and wax (or Zep)

Looks great.
I was thinking same thing about the gelcoat, I would try the Meguiars 3 part restoration or something like that first

Marine Paint

I used Megas Gloss marine Paint on my Playmore. Used a small roller and a brush it went on smooth like melted butter.

This might help explain:

If the damage is limited to gelcoat and not structural, there is no reason you couldn't just clean and wax it for now and use it for a season... or ten. Maybe a little fill and touch-up paint if it's deep.

The previous owner of my Scamp had hit something on the lower front apron, just curbside of the tongue. Bent the glass enough to expose fibers, but it didn't break. Eventually I may patch it up and apply a chip guard coating across the lower front. But not yet. Maybe my standards are too low... LOL

If you're a perfectionist, or just aching for a project, paint away! But as soon as you start using it, it's going to get little bumps and bruises. You're not planning to keep it as a garage queen, are you?

Garage Queen paint

We have a huge R/V show this March, and I am sure I will get more ideas, esp. choice of color to redo exterior. Top stays white for sure, but perhaps a bikini blue, or turquoise on bottom for more of a retro look... AND matching paint on wheels with new baby moons! Should be a real blast!!
