Amerigo's Younger Brother The 1989 Play-Mor

I had seen this while browsing ebay & realized the 1989 Play-Mor was actually just a newer rendition of the Amerigo FG-16.

There are a few minor differences that I can see, one is the belly band area looks like it's 3" - 4" wider than the FG-16 which would give a bit more needed headroom and the frame doesn't have the dropped tongue that Amerigos had. The windows are smaller but the recessed areas that they set in are identical to my Amerigo.
It looks like after they closed the Amerigo molds must have gone to Play-Mor. This is the first one I've seen, does anyone have any more info on them?

I'll post the pics from the auction here.

Here are a few more pics. I prefer Amerigo's floor plans to this one as it only sleeps 2 but the Play-Mor did manage to get a bathroom w/a shower in there.

my first trailer was a Play Mor, and it is still my favorite. the only drawback was the wooden framework. carpenter ants invaded and ruined it. wish i could find another just like it, but with an aluminum frame! do you know if this one is wooden??

regarding use of wood: didn't phrase that correctly. does anyone know if wood was used anywhere that would cause a problem if carpenter ants got to it?

Looks a lot like, but the floorplan looks rather different. A front/side galley, only one bed, no gauchos, and, as you say, a shower. NICE.

Wish we had the jalousie windows!
