Did the factory paint this red or did you?

I've seen your trailer at the Oliver factory in the past. It is definitely a one of a kind. The striking red color is not merely a red paint over white fiberglass. I believe the red coloring was infused into the fiberglass gel coating while it was being created. Good luck on your sale.

Laura, I've linked to your listing on the Oliver forum, there are a lot of people doing their research and trying to decide, this might help them. Good luck.

I cannot believe this trailer hasn't sold yet. If I hadn't just bought an Escape, I would be heading your way.

Thank you for the inquiry. The trailer is not solar equipped. There are 2 newer deep cycle marine batteries.

Very interested in your "candy apple"

Laura, could you please send me some interior pictures? We are in South Carolina. The interior dimensions would helpful too!! You may reply to my email: NewberrySC@att.net if you like. What is the ceiling height too?
I apologize. After I typed my message I looked over the other entries and saw the pictures. Some close-ups would be helpful. We are new to the rv stuff and want to check things out thoroughly.

If you go to the Oliver Travel Trailer website you can see a lot of pictures and get some dimensions. The current small Oliver is basically the same structure, size and layout as the one for sale here. The new ones have updates, but you should get a good idea of what this is. Mike

So this is an Elite I and not the Elite II. The ceiling high is too short for me in the Elite I. I am 74" tall. I was hoping that y'all just left something out of the title. But, thank you for your rapid reply !!

The easy way to tell the difference between the two Oliver models - the Elite has a single axle and the Elite II has a double axle.

At 74" you're going to find virtually everybody's ceiling is going to be too low. The Oliver Elite II is 76" and it's as tall or taller than everybody else. From what I've understood from the tall folks in the world the main question is "how much time do you expect to spend standing inside?"

Thanks Carol and Mike !!
Steve, I guess that is an excuse to get out of washing the dishes !!
But, seriously, it is something to consider. How much does one stand inside.
Thanks for all of your help !
I have also found that it is very difficult to find a used Elite II that is in my price range and is not also across the world from South Carolina.
Persistence is the key, adios !!

In reality, after 30+ years of RVs, no one I know really stands up in their RVs more than a few minutes at a time as most of the time you're outside. This question comes up frequently with folks new to eggs so I did some figuring of my own "stand up" time in my SD or any of the RVs I've had. Came up with between 10 to 15 minutes total per day. Don't really think the interior height is a problem for the tall folks...but that low door opening gets us all now and again . The bed length is the biggest factor to consider as that's where your time WILL be spent. Good luck in your search.
