Quantum 5th Wheeler?

Did someone post a question about a 1981 Quantum 5th wheeler in the last 2 days . I have been looking for it again to look at the pictures again. Or is this a senior moment:O

No Al, wasn't a senior moment, there was a posting here about a Quantum... quite a cute little rig at that... must have disappeared in the transition...

yes a very sharp sleak looking 5th wheel. it was a 1981 and he was looking for info on maker. all it said was Quantum . it was a dual axle
And look to be about 19 footer. looks a little like a newer terry but he said it was not a terry also much smaller then new terry s
Al
1981, Quantum 5, Ultra-lite fifth wheel weighs only 1800 lbs and can even be pulled
by smaller trucks like Rangers and S-10's! Complete fiberglass exterior! ...

Quantum Inside

The ad says the interior has been redone. Wainscoting?

The dealer says it weighs 2500 pounds and is 7ft 6in high by 8ft wide. Axle weight 2000 (1000 each axle) and hitch weight 500 pounds. Has bath with shower and potti, furnace, no AC and no stove.

My thoughts exactly when I saw the pictures of the inside. Did you find any reference to a bathroom? If there was a reference on the rvtrader page, then I overlooked it. It appears to me, however, that there could be one on the street side of the trailer. Very cute table in the back.

NOTE: There's been some references to removal of support walls and closets in other threads. this shows how it can be supported and open at the same time. VERY interesting.

Bathroom

Okay. I just checked again. It says it is 'self-contained' so, to me, that indicates that it does have a bathroom.

For anyone with a small truck, that appears to be a real keeper at a great price. Window sticker says $4995, but site quotes $3995.

Boy...I like that.

Quantum 4

Terry, I was the one who posted it, and the server when it changed lost everything. I even had to reregister to get back in. My repost is in another chat group here on this site, care and feeding of fiberglass trailers under Quantum 5. I have a whole bunch of pictures posted and the recent information for those who were asking is that it does have a 3 burner stove with oven that really works well according to the previous owner's wife. Mine is 17 feet long, tandem axle and weighs in at 1700 pounds according to the previous owner. His wife says it is a queen bed in the poop deck. I will be picking it up in the DC area in mid July and having a little vacation before retukrning to central Illinois. Harold PS: He also is sending me all of the brochures that originally came with the trailer and says they are in pristine condition. I can scan them and email if anyone is interested (they are too large scanned even runing them through OCR to Word to post on this site).
