SOLD: Brand New 2016 Escape 19, $29,500 USD see details...

We have our brand-new 2016 Escape 19 up for sale. Please don’t ask us why we are selling, and please do read the disclosures below so you know what you would be agreeing to:

-This is a brand-new, to-be-built trailer that you can still customize it to your liking (thus, no photos) No kidding, brand spanking new! And a great opportunity for someone who wants a brand new Escape 19 this summer! Escape has given us the option to sell the trailer so we can get the money out of it we paid into it. Due to exchange rate changes from when we paid (last October) and now, a refund is not something we could accept as it would give us thousands less than what we paid.

-The trailer is scheduled to be built and completed in the next few months. The anticipated completion date when the new rig will roll out of the factory is June 17, 2016.

- Since the trailer is yet to be built you will have until March 17 to make any changes to the build sheet you would like. We have paid for the trailer in-full with the options listed. The only exception being some minor price increases in options. If you are serious about buying the trailer we could give you an estimate of what the option price changes are, but that will only give you a general idea. Also keep in mind this is OUR build sheet. You can select what you like, but please see below for a discussion on costs or credits for any option changes.

-Our price is firm at $29,500 USD as we have a few hundred more into the trailer than that. If you look at current Escape 19 pricing and options you will see this is a very fair price, even given the better (for USA buyers) current exchange rate. Payment to be made in full, we will have to work out details of the transaction to find a mutually agreeable way we both get what we need – us the money and you the trailer. If we cannot find a buyer we will pick up the trailer ourselves and see where we go from there...by the way that is not a horrible option. One very important point to keep in mind, you would be buying our rights to the to-be-built trailer, not for an existing trailer. Once you buy our rights it is up to you to work with Escape to: complete the build-sheet, work through title paper-work, work out additions or credits for your chosen options, and pick-up or have the trailer delivered when complete.

-Delivery is NOT included and would have to be arranged separately with Escape. We were going to pick up the trailer in Sumas, WA, so we did not pay for delivery.

-Due to exchange rate issues of CAD to USD and due to price increases for some options, any changes made to the options list resulting in a credit would not be $100 in equals $100 out. The additional amount you would have to pay, or the credit Escape could offer you would depend on your specific options list. How Escape arranged to pay or accept payment for any differences would be up to them.

-The custom flooring we selected is in Chilliwack and IS included in the price. You can view it under Armstrong flooring’s website, it is #G6150, color is Mediterranean Walnut – Natural. It has the one of the best warranties Armstrong offers. You have the option of keeping the custom flooring, or discarding it. But keep in mind, the installation of the custom flooring is one of the options we have not paid Escape for yet. And Escape has a waiver they would like you to sign. What you work out with Escape regarding the flooring is up to you.

Here is the list of the included build sheet items:

Queen Bed vs. U Shaped Dinette

Thanks for the well wishes. Some may find this information useful: The reason we opted for the two U shaped dinettes was based a 19 we saw in Utah with the two U shaped dinettes. What they did was use the smaller, front dinette made up as a bed with their own double memory foam mattress over the cushions (too small for us...), and left the queen bed in the U shaped dinette. We were going to do the same thing but with a queen foam mattress leaving the U shaped dinette in the front. After seeing the option was an option (not listed on the website) we wanted it as it provides a lot of flexibility with the floor plan of the trailer and felt MUCH larger with the queen bed in the U shaped dinette arrangement. Out though was that it was nice to have options and flexibility as a memory foam mattress could be stowed out of the way in our truck if we ever wanted or needed the extra seating space. Plus we really like our memory foam bed at home way better than our former coil mattress, and the permanent queen is offered with a coil mattress meaning we would have to invest in a memory foam topper anyway. Of course you could have the trailer with our without that option, for us it made a lot of sense given the flexibility with the space.
