Likewise, however in my version of the program (CS2) the logo is fragmented, that is, not one solid block of artwork, which may lead to omissions (from the white space between the black) when taken to the printer. It could be how my program is reading it. When a font is created in illustrator or converted to 'curves', the artwork will be a simple outline of each letter. If you imagine the 'b' in
boler, it would be like one solid piece of vinyl. If a plotter (for example) were to try to cut the letters from the PDF as I see it here, it would have to trace over each and every piece. In this case, the 'b' is made up of many tiny pieces...as though it has been fragmented - it almost looks like wood grain.
I in no way intend to insult, the artwork is top notch. I'm just relaying what I see within the file here. Even when selecting all the little pieces and merging the elements, they are still broken up into quite a few pieces.
