Trailer: Escape Manufacturer
Posts: 123
There have been some questions and concerns raised about the status of Trillium RV in Nevada. While we cannot comment on the financial status of TRV, we would like to clarify where things stand between Escape Trailer Industries (ETI) and Trillium RV (TRV).

This time last year TRV contracted ETI to manufacture the 13’ and 15’ Trillium trailer. A new 13' mold funded by ETI was built with design features found in the Escape, however still recognizable as a Trillium.

Due to the difference in manufacturing processes, ETI was not able to meet the manufacturing price set by TRV. This combined with low Trillium sales volume and ETI’s own product line expansion, this was no longer a viable business venture.

As of July 1, 2009, ETI is no longer affiliated with TRV.

The Escape 15' mold is nearing completion, however this trailer is designed off a shortened Escape 17'.

The Escapes resemblance to Trilliums has been noticed!!!

Thanks for the info Reace - this question has come up quite a bit this spring. I was assuming the 15' Escape was going to be based on the Trillium 4500.

I have a 13' Trillium. It's a great trailer. We love it.

Since I don't know the particulars of the agreement nor the breakup, I have no comment on the ETI / TRV situation. Besides, I have other fish to fry. See the SECURITY post.

Thanks for posting that Reace!
We had Al n Wendy over to our new place just yesterday. They are getting very 'antsy' about their new 15'er. Al also was pickin my (feeble) mind for answers to some (trailer)questions some of which I know he's discussed with you. The Trailer Goddess n I both agree with the business decision you've made!!

<span style="color:#A0522D"><span style="font-family:Impact">MORE POWER</span></span> and continued success to Escape Trailer!!

I also bought a 13 ft. TrilliumRV last March and love it. Very happy about how it was delivered, the cost and quality. As Roger said, it's hard to comment any further.
