1971 Amerigo 16 ft. $4200 (Blodgett, OR)

A nice looking trailer for someone!

Craigslist - 1971 Amerigo 16' for sale Blodgett Oregon

Lots of pictures on the ad.

Ad reads in part:

This rare 1971 Amerigo FG-16, MOLDED FIBERGLASS travel trailer, has been completely refurbished on the outside. It has a brand NEW paint job using high quality marine enamel, and new replica decals. All of the windows have been sealed with 3M 5200 marine sealant.

The inside has NEW upholstery and carpet, and is clean and dry. No leaks. No smells. No smokers.

It has 2 beds, a large one in back, and a convertible dinette up front. Sleeps 2 adults and 2 children comfortably.

It comes equipped with a NEW 110-volt refrigerator and microwave, with a porta-potty inside a large closet.

It has the ability to be self-contained, with a new pressurized cold water tank and sink, propane, and a new deep cycle RV battery with a small solar panel.

The gas furnace and stove are untested. With a little more cosmetic work on the inside, it could be VERY nice.

It is super light-weight (1600 lbs.), low to the ground, and tows very easily with a 2 inch hitch. It also has a brand new spare tire.

$4200, and comes with a clean TITLE.

That's a nice find, and a much better deal for $4k.

Those Amerigo's always remind me of the old shuttlecraft from Star Trek:

Yup Jake it is - really surprised we haven't had people falling over themselves to get more info on this one!

PS Donna will really like Star Trek pic!
