Here is our "after" so far. We used it once since we have gotten it. I have to admit, we were clean and dry.

We're not done yet! We gained a lot of storage continuing the floor under the bench! I mean a lot!!! I'm sorry if it seems like I'm boasting by posting all these pictures but I'm still excited to have this cute little trillium and that our under the bench storage worked out so well. We are losing a bit of wind working on it since our camping trip is behind us now and the fact that we still have to make some decisions on what we are going to do with the walls. I want a hard surface but I don't know how to achieve that.

How did you guys strip the glue off the floor? Did you just sand it? Or use something to take it off.

Are you putting the upper shelves back?
I like the easy access under the gaucho now.
I had the same drawer unit under the gaucho.

We just redid the floor in our "new to us" 1975 Trillium. We used Acetone and cleaned in small areas at a time. Came off really well, just don't leave the Acetone on too long as it would eat the fiberglass.

Did you guys insulate? I'm playing with some rigid foam right now and it's kind of annoying. I'm going to be putting up carpet tiles to line the whole thing so I wonder if that's enough for me and my fam? We're not camping in the winter and I'm sure tired of this foam....

Looking good so far. Will you be putting plumbing and stove back in the countertop eventually? I just replaced the city water lines and a faucett in my 1300 Trillium last weekend....was a simple job in spite of having to make some adjustments and work within the tiny space available under and behind the sink.

Did you save any of the parts you removed from your trailer? I'm thinking of cutting a portapotty compartment into my gaucho bench and wondering if you saved that tray that the portapotty would have slide into. I'm in Ont just over the border at Sarnia/Pt Huron.

Right now, we do not plan to put the trays back up as we have gain so much storage by opening up the bench to the right as you go in. We have not inserted insulation but have purchased the foil bubble wrap.

No plans to reinstall the fridge, stove and sink. We do our cooking outside even in bad weather.

I do have the under tray if interested, also stove, sink, fridge are for sale. I also have the large trays painted white for sale.

I would be interested in the portapotty tray (and also the door for that cubby if you still have it and if it is a dark finish like mine are). And also interested in your frig...is it three way (110/120 and gas) or just electric? Do you think it was original or a more modern addition?

What part of Michigan are you in?

Ok, I will post soon. We have been quite busy moving, sailing, and getting this camper ready for our second trip. I will let you know what is for sale, give away, etc. as soon as we make definate decisions as to what we are doing with what.
We just bought trillium 2 hinges which costed $200 for the stupid door!
