Trillium extended bed

I thought I should post pic's of the improvement we made to our '73 Trillium bed, added a little extra - turned the sleeper's sideways and wow what a difference, no more crawling overtop of each other (not that that was a bad thing) just inconvenient. Can you imagine the elbow room.

how do you keep the extended piece in place? do you have a problem with it sliding out over night? What is the black platform?

Thanks Lyndsay, yes it slides out a bit every now and then, but we're working on a solution, we just pull it back with our toes.
The black platform is a piece of aluminum from a pick up truck tonneau cover that someone left on the highway for us, it's very light, but strong.

Nice job. I solved the movement issue with a wall mount table bracket.
