Brrrr, 20 degrees that's cold! I'm trying to think of a time when I've been in that temperature, and I can't remember a time.
High today will be 88 degrees, perfect painting weather, I'm stoked!

You inspire me, Lisa! Those are the exact two upgrades (floor and doors) I have most wanted to make in my Scamp (along with adding a lower door in the closet). I am paralyzed by choosing the colors, and my wife is not a "decorator type," either. Need to get over it and get with the program! Like you.

Happy to help!
I had the advantage of two things:
1) I wanted the floor to match the floor in my tow vehicle (Sprinter van).
2) I just had my house trim painted with that dark grey that I'm using for the cabinet doors, so I didn't have to spend extra money there.

If I were you, I'd get the kiddos on the decorating team. No matter what they come up with, it will be sentimental since they picked out the colors.

That's a great idea, Lisa My oldest, whom you did not get to meet, has very good color sense. Don't know where she gets it from- must be one of those genetic traits that skips a generation!

1992 13' Scamp weekend project

Quick question, I have some romex in the garage, I'm thinking of starting the feed around the breaker box, then around the back of the trailer (where the bed is), and then end it at the closet area, so some day I could add another outlet.
Is it okay to just lay the wire there without conduit?
Pic of the wire.
If I need different wire please tell me the type to buy. Thank you.

Fridge done. It had some scrapes on it before, now it's smooth and clean looking.

That floor is looking good! And the adding a breaker! Long ways from the start with the fuse. You are doing a great job. Keep it up!

Your van

Have you a thread somewhere regarding your van conversion? I have never seen that before.

Great job going on the Scamp.

Nancy (who would like a van to pull her 13)

Looks great! All back together and ready for a trip. Next weekend is Veteran's Day, maybe a three day weekend.

I don't have full documentation as I just did a spruce up of the van interior. I added insulation (foam board from Home Depot), behind the walls and on the ceiling. Then I added the cabinets that were premade for a Sprinter. I got lucky on the cabinets as someone was selling them on Craigslist as they were doing a full renovation with their van. The cabinets have a murphy style bed in them. This allows me to have a two bedroom scenario with the Sprinter and Scamp.
I had a MaxxAir fan installed with remote.
The flooring in the van and Scamp are now a match.
Some pics here with my other hobby, motorbikes.

Wellllllll, not that quickly. I have the entire front couch out of the Scamp. My goal is to turn it into a front dinette.
