My god the Nostalgia! That fabric reminds me of the show ReBoot. Love it! So cute.
Edit: A bit delayed I see... I'm still trying to get used to this forum thang.

HI I did the t strip on Sunday it looks much better. Now. We have been trying to glue a round corner of the elephant skin which has bubbled out. My husband used contact cement and I stretched the skin with my hair dryer (I am a Stylist) it looked like it was going to work pressing it in with a bowl. The next day the elephant skin was unglued except for the edges. Are there any suggestions?

You may need to find a way to keep pressure on the area until it is completely cured. Maybe try bracing something up against it

If you used contact cement you may not have waited for it to dry enough. When properly dried it is not particularly tacky to touch except for another piece also dried, then they bond instantly and permanently! You will not re-position it after it touches if it is correctly dried.

Fixing up the '75 Trillium 1300
UPDATE:
After 4 hours of washing and prepping with bar keepers friend yesterday and 2.5 hours and 5 coats of Zep today... Truly is truly looking like a new trailer!
Before
After 5 coats on the top
All done!
Just wish it was a sunnier day so I could really capture the shine!

We camped in her the long weekend and loved every moment! No leaks, stayed warm at night and cool during the day! We were supposed to camp again last weekend but found some serious electrical problems that will be fixed this weekend. Then there's no stopping us!

This looks great! I'm new to the forum, so likely have missed a million discussions on this topic, but what did you use for the underlay? And is it attached to the fiberglass floor somehow, or truly "floating"? Our "new" 1976 Trillium 1300 has some very, VERY old and dusty orange felt carpet that need an overhaul.

I used a thin thermal foam under the flooring. It is truly a floating floor.

It was so great meeting you and Jill and Oliver on the weekend in Kinbrook!
Great to see your little Trilly, I always get super over excited when I see another Trillium in the campground or on the road!
Have a great camping season!!

Good to meet you guys too Lyndsay! Was awesome to not only camp next to another Trillium, but one that we had already seen on this forum - it's a small world.
Thanks for the tour of your trailer - I went out shopping today to get some vinyl floor panels and stainless trim, and will be laying it down this weekend. Can't wait to see how it looks.
