Battery location on a surfside?

Good day,

Does anyone know exactly where the battery was located on a triple e surfside?

Was it vented as well?

I'd prefer to put it out front but if it can safely be put inside i would.

Thanks for the help....I'm getting close to getting her done!

We have a 79 surfside. Our battery is front corner, kitchen side under front bunk.

Our battery is not vented.

Also, I can't exactly tell from your pic, but is your back window a single pane of glass? Ours is, and I was wondering if it was factory or replaced.

Hey thanks for the info!

As far as the rear glass, yes it is a single pane but not sure if it is original or a replacement as I purchased this trailer with the windows as is.

Cool! Do you have photos posted here of the work you've done in your trailer?
We are just about to start work on ours and your work could be of great help.

Yes lots! It's over in the other forum, modifications, etc... Under ' sanding prepping advice'. Ground up restoration pics from the day I brought home from Victoria up til today... Still have a ways to go but it's a fun little hobby. Any questions feel free to ask. I'm not the most knowledgeable fellow about surfside rvs but I've learned enough through these forums.

Hi
I have a 78 TM-14 and the battery is located outside on the front of the trailer in front of the twin propane tanks. There is a metal platform at this location welded to the frame. The battery box is locate at this location!
