Hi I'm April! Any active Perris Pacer owners I can connect with?

I just bought a 1974 Perris Pacer and I'm in the beginning stages of renovating it! Excited to be joining the club! I would love to meet any Perris Pacer owners out there! I'm VERY new to the remodel project world but excited to learn!

Thanks! What year is your Perris Pacer? Did you do a remodel on it?

Hi, I just bought a 75 Perris Pacer. I don't plan much renovation, which is good because I am better at camping than at construction and repair.

1988 Perris Pacer

I just purchased a 1988 Perris Pacer. It is my first trailer of any kind. After sitting a few months, it is leaking around skylight, Fantastic fan, and rear window. The wall covering was torn out by previous owner as it was falling off. Underneath is Reflectix glued to the wall but I don't think it has much value as insulation as there is no air space. In order to find the source of the leaks, I have now removed most of the reflectix which was not difficult because of the moisture. I discovered where water is getting in, but in the process, on a sunny day, I can now see tiny pinholes where the sun shines in on both of the curved sides of the trailer. I have no renovation experience but am a pretty handy 72 year old woman with some limiting physical disabilities. I'm wondering if I can buy marine epoxy and clean the area thoroughly and put epoxy in the pinholes. I then thought of doing a gel coat for fiberglass, assuming there is one for fiberglass, on the top of the trailer. I have watched videos and purchased a product by Dicor products called self-leveling lap sealant. The skylight and fan seam fine upon inspection. I am in hopes that this will stop the moisture. The big window may be leaking at the gasket; I'm not sure. There is obvious moisture beneath it. Any critique of my ideas out there or ideas about the window. I love the little trailer. In fact, I found photos of it on this site
. I have already done mechanical work and new tires. I need the leaks to stop and then will attack the inside.
