Riveting '77 Boler 17 ft

Looking for advice on size of rivets to use and how to rivet L brackets on inside
wall of trailer. Seems my throw distance on my pop rivet isn't long enough to grab so can't seem to catch rivet to "pop" it.

Also looking for spring loaded latch for rock guard on front window - I know it is the same as one on older Bigfoot trailers

Thanks for help -

What are you mounting on the L brackets? And I assume you mean interior of a wall that goes to the outside? If I had the option to not put a hole to the outside I would take it. We put up some small shelves and used the 3M mounting tape. A few washboard roads later they are still holding fast.

And I wonder if this would work for the pin to hold the rock guard?

thanks so much for advice and suggestions

i am replacing existing rivet that held L brackets - one just to stabilize the
side wall of the oven/stove/sink cabinet and the other much large to hold the
bunk bed at front of Boler

will see if the snap ring is long enough, excited about the possibility

also if you are using pop rivers use Blind Rivets as they are water proof
