Boler charge wire

I'm replacing the original converter/inverter in my 1978 Boler 1700 RGH with the PD4045. It appears that the original wiring had the charge and ground wires from the 7 pin plug running directly to the fridge with a splice in from the panel.

I'm curious if this is alright? Is there a more optimal way to run this?

Thanks, Orin

Fridge Fuse?

OJ,

Your converter has a DC fuse panel to run your DC circuits from.
Your fridge should be fused and running thru this panel providing
a place to fuse the circuit. If your fridge does not require DC power
to operate on propane you could stick with the present setup but it
would be advisable to fuse the wire running to the reefer.

Have Fun!

On my Boler I rewired and got a new converter it had the fused 12 v wires from panel to fridge....The charge wire from Toe Vehicle has a 30A fuse and only goes as far as the Battery off 7 pin plug....
The fridge runs off the 12 volt battery via the converter and while traveling the charge wire keeps the 12 volt battery charged.
