Here's an excerpt off of their website and they state these 17's will be back in 2015! So obviously, they do still have the molds and will be putting them to use soon!

Hopefully, when they relaunch the 17, they upgrade some things.

Is the fresh water hose and the sewer hose in the same compartment?

Wow...that's different. Can you digress on that some? Seems someone's already mentioned the fresh/sewer hoses being in the same compartment? Not good there for sure!

Surprising!

Well I don't know anything. But I would assume that they would bring all the systems and electronics and options list up to date to at least match the bigger trailer.

Not sure where this came from but the water connections are on the outside and the sewer hose connection is in the rear fold down bumper. Being RVIA certified I doubt that kind of a configuration would not pass their stringent guide lines.

A link posted earlier in this thread had a picture of the rear storage area showing the sewer hose and fresh water hose stored side by side. That photo may be the source of the question.

It will match the same features as the Elite II, MaxAir remote control fan, central heat with a vent in the bathroom, Blue tooth capable stereo head unit, all LED lighting etc...

Cool. So it's essentially the same trailer as the big one, just smaller.

That sure does seem to be the source. I see they are storing the hose in the rear bumper of which I would not recommend.

That's the plan. We have a list of people that are ready to order and I hope to have a demo at the plant in Dec or Jan.

The shell will be the same but we are planning on changing the galley drawers, overhead storage doors and a few other things.

Any plans for a sport type model without all the features of the larger model, but at a lower pricepoint?

I was at the factory two weeks ago, having some up upgrades done on my 2008 17' Ollie. The molds for the 17'er had been brought out from storage, cleaned, and prepared for use again. That was sure nice to see! They will be offering newer systems with the reproduction of the Legacy Elite, such as a 4g cell phone booster, 160w solar panels ( you can get one or two of them for a whopping 320W ) and a three zone, Bluetooth sound system by Furrion with an internal woofer. I think the lighting fixtures and a few other things will be newer also.

The stinky slinky stores in the fold-down rear bumper, where the black water outlet connection is. I carry my fresh water hoses in my TV, to hook up to marine grade connections on the lower rear streetside area.

We certainly look forward to seeing the demo 17' and reading more about it. Thanks for your input, Robert.

A simple alum. "baffle" plate welded into the storage area to divide it Robert would be the perfect solution there and have a compartmentalized area to safely store both sewer/water hose etc.

I always screw the ends of my water hose together along with the regulator. Just need to make sure they're drained.

For what it's worth, I sure wish OTHER manufacturers had "reps" to participate in some of these discussions of their trailers to view issues/concerns/suggestions!! Looks like Robert is Oliver's guy! Thanks

That may be something you would like, but I have plans to store my fold-up ladder in that space and a wash-down coil hose. My fresh water hose will ride in the other storage compartment, or up front with the LP tanks.

I'll also be looking for some kind of plug for the end of the sewer hose to keep any leaks at bay.

Wish there was a way to do a bike rack - don't really see how.

Ron...I may have the solution for you on that one. Here's the hoses I bought and have been using them for a couple of years now with NO problems. They're made of stronger vinyl and dont tear NEAR like the cheapies.

A couple of good things-- they're (2) 10' complete hoses . I rarely have to use the second hose. AND, they have "caps" that fit and SEAL the hoses. There's a small picture to click on in this link and you will see them.
