omg...I just noticed the adorable burro model in the forward corner shelf...ADORABLE!
Would you tell me about your shelves? What materials did you use? Where did you get the aluminum angles, How did you install them?...rivets, butyl caulk, or tape? Also did you paint the entire interior...it looks so fresh? If so, did you use off the shelf product or a Sprayer?
Inquiring minds want to know...
Kudos again you guyz...it's beautiful!

More pictures of the updates and a video of recent trip to Elkmont Camp Ground in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Hope to see everybody camping somewhere soon!
Just saw your YouTube video. Very nice. Did you install those shelves??? How in the heck did you do that? I would love to add those to my Burro. Please send instructions!! Thanks....Linda Fox
No we did not install the shelves. As I understand it, the previous owner who was the original owner, bought this Burro as a kit and the shelves were an option. I will post a couple of pictures that may help. Good luck and happy camping.
What a sweet little home away from home you have created! Choosing a theme with a few choice colors has brought all the elements together! As a fellow "glamper" I'd like to know how you anchored the top of the Roman shades to the wall of the camper.

Hi Gilda! The window treatment has a rod pocket on a regular curtain rod. It is stationary and we have light blocking shades behind them we pull down for privacy. Happy camping. Marilyn.
Does anyone know if it's necessary to glass the back of the shelf as shown in Dondon's sketch? I'm thinking another set of hinges on top and bottom of the shelf in the middle would keep it from flipping forwards or backwards while storing items. I'm not real confident on how to lay FG at all....
Do you guys have a porta potti in your Burro? Mine fits under the bench up front.......
Sent from my iPad using Fiberglass RV
We opted for a basket that fits the space perfectly. We use a luggable loo which rides in the tow vehicle and we move it into the camper at bedtime. We were talking about this the other day because we're not sure we need the extra storage so we might just go with a new porta potti. The loo is too tall.
Don, first your trailer is really nice. It looks very homey, comfortable and tasteful. i thought the hassock might be hiding a luggable loo before you explained it. We just purchased a small porta-potti for the Scamp. This one is one of the smallest with great reviews. If you measure your space, here are the actual dimensions: 12.2" tall, 13.4" wide and 15" deep (front to back). Link:
The model number should be 260 B not 260 P as the link above states. They are similar, but the 260 P is a marine model with mounting brackets for the floor. The 260 B does not have them or the fluid level window shown in the Amazon picture. You want the Thetford 260 B for campers. Hope this isn't too confusing.
What a fantastic job you did on your little Burro! Oh Thank you for sharing this and the WORD!!!!!!
By the way I always carry a large tarp also, it gives a lot more covered living area,
mine is 30 yrs old and full of duct tape repairs, yours looks a little well used also. LOL!
I love your mods!! I'm going to copy your shelf ideas over the winter. Questions: what type of screw (?) did you use to attach those brackets to the wall? What kind of wood are your shelves?
Even though I recovered my cushions, I think I am going to commit to a permanent bed setup after viewing your pictures. Thanks for posting!
