SOLD: 1981 13ft Burro $6,000- Oregon

We have a wonderful, classic 1981 Burro egg camper. It's in great shape. These campers are extremely rare, especially in this condition. It sleeps four easily, more if you have little kids like us. Fiberglass campers are great because they are so lightweight. This one weighs about 1,000 pounds. Most sedans (Honda Accord, Toyota Camry) and any minivan with a tow hitch can easily pull it! That's why we got it- we towed with our Honda Odyssey and it towed flawlessly.
It has a fresh water tank that drains to the outside, no bathroom.
Lots of little cubbies.
New manual stabilizer jacks.
New carpet, newly recovered cushions, new custom lightweight cabinet doors.
New two burner propane stove with exterior 5 gallon tank.
LED lighting inside.
Bearings were re-packed a couple months ago.
New LED turn/stop and marker lights, wired with a 4 pin flat connector. It looks really cool at night.
Burros have a simple torsion beam suspension and this one works fine.
Since it is so lightweight, it does not have trailer brakes, so it does not require a brake controller.
Tires are great, about 3/4 tread.

We dearly love the Burro, but we have five children and need to move up to a larger camper. Please email if you have questions. Located in Central Oregon. Thanks!

Hi, do you know the tongue weight or can you weigh it? We have a jetta sportwagen and cannot exceed 200 lbs with our hitch. We are going out of US till jan 20 but could come get it the following week if you are willing....we used to have scamp and loved it.

i do not know the tongue weight for the burro. I can pick it up and move it around, so it is probably around 100 pounds.
