Ron. You will love the induction burner. We use it almost exclusively now. The propane stove heats the trailer up too much and creates a lot of moisture. Someone gave us a Nu Wave burner and we thought it was a gimmick until we used it. I put my stainless Mocha pot on it and in minutes have a cup of Espresso.

I think our biggest issue is where to put the trash. We had the same issue with the Casita. Hang a Walmart bag on the awning opener? We are searching for a trash can that will fit behind the toilet as that space is wasted on all these FB trailers. If you come up with a good fix please post it.

Not sure about the layout on your Oliver, but I found that the most convenient place for a trash can in my Escape is on the inside of the door. When the door is closed, the space isn't needed for anything else, and when it is open, you can access the trash from the inside and outside.
The trash container is hanging on a couple 3M Command hooks.

That won't work for us as we have a screen door.

I'll probably hang a trashbag from that hand hold near the front door.

I also have a screen door. It's a single panel that opens to the left ( in the picture ). Screen door isn't in use when door is closed so the trash can doesn't get in the way.

It's not the same type. Look at the pictures we've posted.

Had a look, but don't understand how it works. When door is closed, screen door is also closed?

In any event, if you use the 3M Command hooks to secure your trash container, you can remove the hooks and try it somewhere else without any holes or damage to surfaces.

Glenn. I believe the Escape screen is a slider whereas oliver uses a conventional screen door that swings with the main cabin door. Hard to attach anything to that. You know, this seems like a minor issue, but when you are camping for a week or more it's the small things that get noticed. Laundry, trash, left overs, etc.

My Escape is 2008, was built prior to the venetian blind style screen door used now. My screen door is a single panel, hinged on the left and the door is hinged on the right. Screen opens inward and door outward.
So, if I understand, the screen door on the Oliver is hinged on the same side as the door and both open outward?

Correct, and the screen door is attached to the cabin door until you unlatch it in which case the cabin door has a lock to keep it open while the screen remains closed. This seems to be the norm with travel trailer doors.

Hey. Thanks for trying to help. That is what we need ...campers helping other campers.

I like your hanging basket concept and may adapt it to the wall behind the toilet.

Glenn, I too have struggled with placement of a waste basket. I liked your idea when I saw the picture. I'm thinking on the closet door since we usually hang a Wal-Mart bag there and stuff our garbage in it.

We always have plastic shopping bags. We hang one on the leg of the awning (close to the outside propane stovetop) and take it to the main garbage bin when we are going that way. We hang another one inside on a hook beside the door.

Saw an induction burner review on line last week. The writer said that when she used it, she realized she'd been cooking over the equivalent of a smoking twig for the last 20 years. I'm looking forward to trying one.
