ON | SOLD: 1981 Trillium 4500

This trillium is in very good condition and a Great canvas for all your creative touches.

I've ended up with 2 of them and was going to use this one to rent or for friends but I just haven't found the time.

The 4500 is 18" longer than the more typical 1300 model. This gives you larger sleeping areas and more counter space. It's noticeably more comfortable for a couple.

Layout is front bunk beds. Has rear shelf option.

All electrical works including fridge. Propane stove is working but have not tested furnace yet. It oddly has 2 furnaces, I assume the larger one doesn't work and would be a great spot for more storage.

Fibreglass is in good shape and door is hanging straight. All insulation is in good shape and no signs of mould. Windows all work properly.

Has updated curtains and rear bed cushions.

Tires in good shape and it tows straight. Bearing Buddies installed.

Retro/vintage fiberglass trailer similar to Boler, Scamp, Casita, Burro...

No lowballers please.

A couple of observations:
-The rear shelf is made of fibreglass, like the ones in a 1300. I have never seen this in a 4500 before.
-The front shelves are aluminum.
-The fridge is an RM211.
-The stove is a two burner.
-There are no drawers, or door, in the dinette seats.
-The gravity furnace is not a Duo-Therm, the one that Trillium usually installed. I suspect it is installed by a previous owner. The forced air furnace looks factory.
-The front bunk is not assembled.
-There is an unidentified structure on the outside front of the trailer, just under the front window.

I am on the west side of Toronto very close to mississauga. South of the QEW.

This is interesting, I assumed the larger one was original. Did I read somewhere they stopped using gravity fed in 1980?

The hinge is there to re-install, I was going to reupholster so I didn't re-install it, plus I would need an extra set of hands

That is wood bolted through to the bunk support, it's an odd mod. I don't see any rot so I'm not sure why they did it. Maybe to increase the bunks weight capacity?

It was around this time that they stopped using gravity feed furnaces. The surface temperature was considered too high, by CSA, (and DOT?). Trillium started installing forced air furnaces instead.

Strange thing to do. The wood is exposed to the weather, and there are now additional holes in the fibreglass.
