Jim,
I've got a major project to finish on my computers before the start of the work year. If no one has made the appropriate posts by the time I finish it, I will see what I can do then.[/QUOTE]

Hi Roy and happy new year to you guys.
After all the high jacking of this thread for no known reason, I won't be posting for Fred in the future. This guy is totally juvenile.

Hey James maybe you can clarify your remark on who'se juvenile behaviour you speak of ,maybe it's me or maybe I'm missing something as almost every post I have made does have bolerama mentioned in it. I am one of the largest supporters of bolerama and try to mention it in other posts whenever possible.sometimes in the flow of a thread other members ask questions and I or others feel inclined to answer as I don't think we could start a thread for every question .James maybe there is some miscommunication on my part and you are referring to something else on your remark and I apologize but please let's not resort to name calling . Even the bolerama motto is not to take things to seriously

Walt you can call long beach conservation area and reserve a serviced site which usually fill up before the event or you can just show up for the unserviced group camping without a reservation but in either case Fred would like to know if you plan to attend. You can get the info off the bolerama . Com website

I tried bolerama.com and just in case, Bolerama Tec | Bolerama Tec and got a Spanish language site both times.

Walt I see the problem you may be having finding the bolerama site .you must go through Google .ca and it will bring you there. Sorry for the confusion.

Sorry folks, I have been posting the rally here for Fred over the years and trying to get it up on to the rally map.

In the meantime, here is a link to the information on Fred's website. (FYI, he does that and the community spreads the word)
Ontario Bolerama 2016 "Towed-tally Awesome"

I checked the Rally Map and some kind soul has already put it up for me. Thanks.

Steve and I are thinking about making the journey to Bolerama this year.

We travel with our two dogs and would like to know if there is a doggy beach at the conservation area.

Does anyone know the answer?

Thank you,

Linda

Officially, no pets on the main public beach. Leashes required at all times anywhere on the property. There will be a lot of pups there.

In past years the staff have indicated the portion of beach with the flat "rock point" is OK for dogs. So that is where we bring ours.

Ontario bolerama

We hope you all have a great time at Long Beach. We wish we could handle the heat and come but we cannot, which is why we started EggFestOntario in May. This year the heat there almost did me in, and Lake Erie area is worse. We are happy we had another sold out year for our little Meet & Greet, and wish you the same. Sadly we are not up to the drive through all the big cities to get there either, but we hope you have a blast.
Even though Manitoba in July can be pretty hot, our hope is that we are able to make the trip in 2018 to join the 50th anniversary gathering. It would be our last longer trip but since I have family in Souris area, I'd like to see them one more time as well.
We did the Cross Canada Antique Car Tour in 2000 and it was amazing so I am sure this one will be amazing to join in as well.

We won't be making it out to this year's event due to scheduling conflicts but I made a point to drop in today to just say HI to everybody (or as many as I can walk up to and hug)..

It was awesome seeing familiar, friendly faces and I know I will be missing out on so much this weekend !!

Hope to see everybody next year!

Another successful Bolerama! Many thanks to Fred and Donna and everyone who helped with the food and all aspects of the event, and many thanks to the very helpful staff at the Long Beach Conservation Area. Sorry you could not make it, Paul and Vivian. Saw you there, Roy, Ed, Alf et al.

Always fun to renew our acquaintance with the Bolerama critters - Alfie the Cat and Holly the Jack Russell and the Rhodesian Ridgebacks and the hairless guinea pig too.

Great to see everybody, hope to see some of you at Algonac and the Wine Escape, and everybody else - next year!
