Photos of Biggar bunk supports?

We have a biggar and received the detached bunk with it.

Would like to reattach the bunk.

Have heard there was a ladder arrangement near the door that originally supported the bunk. Not sure.

Have seen this thread with what might have iron to support the bunk. http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...ale-43040.html

Anyone know how the bunk was originally supported? Anyone have photos of the original support system?

Biggar ladder

Hi Cory, I just bought my biggar this last weekend and it came with a ladder. I'll try to post the pic of it but it won't be until tomorrow evening. Do you have any pics of the interior of your? I'm looking for ideas. Also, do you sleep in the queen and make it up every day or do you just leave it down? Thanks for the info, Marina

Hi Marina

Thanks a lot! Would love to see them.

The photos of Manitoba Paul's in this thread look just like ours http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...ler-24762.html

In fact, the photos posted by Gary Nelson on the second page are of ours as we bought ours from Gary.

I guess the orange seats are original as they are in both trailers.

We have two boys, 12 and 14. They sleep on the pull out bottom bed and my wife and I sleep the the table bed. We do set it up each night. Boys are getting bigger so I want to re-install the upper bunk that has been in oru garage for the past couple of years.

The only look I've seen other than the "wood" shown in ours is the painted lighter version in this thread http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f80/sold-1979-19-ft-biggar-fiberglass-trailer-for-sale-43040.html

Check with Manitoba Paul. My recollection is that he may have done some modifications to the rear storage area and possibly the bunk area of his.

We really like our Biggar. The large table seating area is great for having friends or kids over for games and visiting.

And more Pics

There is a pin at the top of the ladder. This goes into a hole in the bunk. If you need more pictures, I will get them in a week as my daughter is borrowing my camera for her holidays. lol Marina

Thanks Marinab

Those give me a good idea.

Where do you put the ladder while driving or parked with the bunk folded to the wall?

You store the ladder on the back part of the bunk. It just lies flat on the mattress.
