California Casita/Scamp

Hey All;

There are 4 or 5 Casita's (Scamps) at Camp Pendleton. The auction ends on the 30th so if your interested you have to jump. I'm in New Hampshire....if they were in the Northeast I wouldn't be writing this:-)

Go to any Military or Goverment Auction Website ... FirstGov/ Gl Surplus whatever. Navigate to trailers.


As I said there are 4 or 5 but the auction runs out on the 30th. I opened one up a few minutes ago and it was at $ 770.00

Wow! Sweet! Nice to find several of these available. We have ours, and while I wouldn't mind upgrading to one that would sleep all four of us more comfortably, we are limited by storage capacity (it must fit in our garage, thanks to HOA).

[b]Does anyone know what key words to search with? I must have tried a dozen words trying to find some sort of scamp or small trailers! I know there might not BE any available right now, but I'd still like to know how to search for one!

I use Scamp and/or camper. It looks like there are none for auction right now.
