i have no reall data ,but,,,that never stops me from proffessing the truth. you would almost think i was from washington d.c.
anyway,,, i think most all the people i have seen here talking about it paint their own.
if you decide to take a look at a websight called "good old boats"
or "fiberglassics " another old boat site. people have been repainting
fiberglass boats for decades and they really have it down. while many of the paints they use are overkill on a trailer, since they have to survive 24/7 emersion on water...they still apply to getting a good solid protective and nice looking finish on a
fiberglass trailer.
ir you can do the prep work and have earl schieb squirt some paint on it and it will mosty likely last as long and look as good as anything else you can do.
just depends how much work you feel like doing.
just remember,,,sometimes the best tool in your toolbox,,,,,is your check book.
