I have a 1977
Scamp 13.
This is a base model and is in solid shape. Easy for you to customize as you see fit. (No AC / Heat / Fridge). It does have a 12v
lights system (all LED), Fan, and stereo.
I have used sparingly the last few years and we recently built a permanent cabin so I no longer see myself using it (primarily used on my land, so no need to have a camper if I have a cabin).
Plus we have several Bears on my land this year and I feel better about camping on stilts in my cabin vs a ground level Scamp! (mom with 2 cubs on trail camera a few weeks ago about 50 yards from where I normally park it to camp)
I put new
tires and wheel bearings on it about 2 years ago, and maybe have 200 miles on them (I did pull it to one music festival last summer and it RAINED the whole time. I stayed dry while my tent companions were super jealous! Pulled great.).
I gutted, cleaned, and reassembled when I purchased, and there is not any rot or problems that I am aware of. (other than it does not have any AC and gets HOT in NC camping). It has the elephant skin interior so that was easily cleaned as well. I replaced all the rivets and snap caps and used the butyl tape to seal them up. There is no
fiberglass damage and the floors are solid (I just sanded down and painted the plywood after the carpet was removed so they are easy to inspect and should not have any hidden damage).
** FYI -
Propane tank in pics was for my Mr Buddy heater. It is not currently on the rig.
Please let me know if interested and you can come take a look.
