Just a thought....
We did have the best of parties for our 50th. It was wonderful, a dozen kayaks, paddle bats, paddle boards, boats, music, dancing by young and old, too much wonderful camp food, a fire circle, total exhaustion by all around midnight, an unbelievable cake, a decorated
Scamp, loving arms all around, ample time for conversation and sharing and the youngest of all caught the first and second fish.
One aspect that made it special was that it went over two days. No need to rush away, plenty of unhurried time. Most everyone sleeping together in two large bunked cabins. The nieces and nephews practically grew fins, hardly ever coming out of the water, big ones helping little ones. All kayaking all across the lake.
All left sadly Sunday afternoon, all recording a permanent memory of love and fun.
One camp, one friendly family loving each other. We're happy for all and feel very fortunate.
We previously went to a multi-day campground wedding with similar results; it was the best wedding ever, the same for our party...both having a camp in common.
