Very simple to put a a/c in the rear sliding window. You can also take it out while traveling. The 5,000 btu Frigidaire fits perfect and sips gas when running on a 2000 watt honda gen...

Guys if it's clean as advertised it will be gone soon!!!
Great price!!! The a/c fits perfect with a 6' section of
pipe insulation that is slit down the center. 6' will
wrap the whole window and the a/c sells for $120.
It cools my Scamp to 72 degrees on low...

Wow, thanks for the tip on putting in A/C!!!! Just ordered one of these from Walmart online for the $120 price and free delivery.

We don't want to spend the big money for a rooftop A/C and it wouldn't clear our garage door anyway. We don't need A/C much up here and this is a perfect alternative for those very few hot nights that we might have. I can see pretty quickly that I am going to like this better than a permanent A/C setup. Just nice to know we can get out of the hot and sweaty when we need to.

Ace Hardware has the thicker 6' piece of pipe insulation. You may need to cut 3-4" off and it will completely enclose the window tracking. Cut a small board for inside and outside put two 1/4 x 5" bolts with thumb nuts to draw them in and seal the water out. Works like a champ and my Scamp fits in the carport less wind drag and weight off the roof. I live in Florida and the a/c gets as cold as you want it. I couldn't find the thicker pipe wrap at Lowes or Home Depot. You can install the A/C from the outside just slip the front of it through the rear of the window. When you take it out turn it to it's side to drain the water out, let it dry out and you can store it under the front couch.

I also cut a small piece of board to lay on top of the a/c between the 2 boards so the bottom of the boards dont draw into much.
