SOLD: 2000 16' Scamp one owner $6000.00

16 foot Scamp, front bath, side dinette. Bought new in 2000, sold our house in Az in June 2016 and have been on a 7 month scamping trip. Have purchased a new home in Murrieta, Ca. Escrow closes on or about Feb 27th, at which time the Scamp will be available for a new owner. We are still in it full time and are now in an RV park in Southern California. We don't have interior pictures yet, we'll want to remove all of our "stuff" and do some detailing for that after we get our house. All pretty standard, we've put in a laminate floor, the fridge is the original 2 way, propane and electric, 2 burner stove, toilet and shower, etc.
We've always left the rear dinette set up as a double bed, and used the side dinette for our table. All use has been by my wife and myself only. Generally in good condition. Picture is at one of our campsites on this trip.

We are Sooo Interested

Hi Ed,

I hope that I have your name correct. We are a married couple with cash.

We live in Scottsdale Arizona and have been looking for over a year for this exact trailer. My wife will be in Southern Calif. visiting her brother starting tomorrow for the next 4 days. Any chance that she could meet you and see the trailer? We totally understand that it will be full of a million things. We are avid campers with grandkids. Let us know and we can exchange details. Thanks so much! Ron Birkett

No rush for us. Whenever you are done with it.
You can also contact Sue at XXX-XXX-XXXX

Hi Ron, I just figured out how to reply here I think. Sent a reply wrong a few minutes ago. We lived in Wickenburg for 24 years, not to far from you. Your wife could certainly see the trailer if it works out for her, we're in the Pechanga casino RV Park in Temecula, will be here until Sunday morning, when we leave for Palm Springs to visit my son. As of today, we've been in the Scamp for 7 months, touring the country. Our new house in Murrieta should close escrow on Feb 27th, getting eager to get settled again, but, no room there to keep the Scamp on site, plus I've now reached an age where it's not as easy as it used to be to take those trips. My phone number is XXX-XXX-XXXX, give me a call if you would like to set something up for your wife to see the Scamp. (Phone is a Montana area code, our tracfones from Az quit connecting up there so we had to get new ones) Thank you, Ed

Hello Ed,
If the sale does not go through with Ron, my wife and I would be interested in your trailer. I am sending you my email address and phone number through private messaging. Please keep us in mind if the sail to Ron does not work out.
Thank you, Terry

Where in California.

We're in Fowler just South of Fresno. We st in Placerville each December on our way to South Lake Tahoe. I like to visit Supply Sergeant to see what hats they they have in stock and look at the camping supplies. A lot of us tourists, but still a nice town. A lot of history in the surrounding area. Always worth the time it takes to look around the area.
Well, welcome back to california.
Terry

Hi, Just realized that I made a mistake on my ad. Our house is set to close on Jan 27th, not Feb 27th. Don't know what I was thinking. Ed
