Go for a Fiama Awning that cranks out. The ones Scamp put on back then are a "royal pain in the ass"

I agree with Wayne's advice, you will love the Fiamma awning.

used to have a 19' Scamp

The awning on our 19' Scamp was a pain to put in and out. It unrolled, didn't crank....have a Casita now with an A & E by Dometic awning and it is much easier to put out and in, it cranks.

This is interesting. I am the third owner of my Scamp, the second owner lost the awning to wind, maybe because it was such a pain to deal with. I am just speculating on this. I am very happy without one, less drag on the highway, although I cannot quantify that in terms of gas mileage. On some of our trips we take a screen tent. It's advantage is that it can be set up wherever needed, not necessarily next to the Scamp.

I do not know where you are located but you should be able to order a 10' awning of your make choose from pretty well any of the major RV shops.

If your in the lower mainland what I often do when purchasing a fairly large ticket item for the trailer that is limited in choose in Canada but more options state side and often cheaper is have the item shipped to a mailbox service on the US side - I frequently use The Mailbox at Lynden Washington for example.. That way you may also get free shipping offered by some of the on line stores. Then take the trailer and go down pick the item up and enjoy a night of camping at Deception Pass other great part - even the Walmart parking lot in Burlington. Head home and pay no duty.
