Stainless steel guards on the windows... Concerned someone would break in? Still has single-pane windows.

Carpeted interior walls... what's wrong with rat fur?

10 gallon hot water heater... so what, my 1988 has a quick recovery 7 gallon.

60 gallon grey water/black water capacity... hasn't the owner figured out totes?

Big tires, outside the body... note the axle is still low... I've got 15" tires on my Scamp, but the axle is still down-low. Just check high four-wheel drive tugs! Same, same.

On Edit: I just noticed the air-ride suspension. Are you willing to carry a compressor?

I do like the rain cap over the door.

I'm not the least bit interest. However, YMMV.

I still think my Escape 5.0TA is wonderful!

The compressor is included, I believe. But with all that stuff, is there any room left for the campers?

I'm not blasting this sale.I think the bathroom looks great! It's really about educating yourself as a buyer and figuring out YOUR needs. There are too many features that don't interest me...

The bars on the windows and the solid steel door latches and hinges would be nice when boondocking and leaving your trailer unattended.

Looks like they did a pretty good job. I would have chosen something like the wall covering in an Escape rather than the carpet, but lots of great features. The suspension looks very capable of handling rough terrain, especially with those nice large tires and wheels. Maybe the bars on the windows provide protection from trees along tight trails. The bathroom shower looks well done. My choice would still be an Escape 5.0TA over this one.

That's one beautiful trailer. I really like the storage cabinet in the rear. If I had a TV that would handle it I would buy it! My only question is, will the axel handle all that extra weight?

Someone also asked wondering what it weighed. Here's a link to that actual advertisement on Craigslist. I dont think he actually lists the weight but DOES say something about 2-1/2 X the original weight.... 6000 +? Sounding like an "Oliver wannabe" He DOES say it has a HD axle (Springs) in it so definitely not the typical Dexter rubber torsion axle.

Wow....lotsa work/money in that rascal.

EDIT: Oh and somewhere I read for "boondocking extreme"...so I guess that would answer for the bars on the windows.
