New Scamp 13 sink in bathroom not draining.

Had the same issue with my bathroom not draining. 2nd time I used it and got an "air lock". Cleaned out the filter, no luck. Then added water to sink/shower pan and then opened the filter slightly (as suggested) to try to move air out of the lines. Took a couple of tries and a few minutes of letting the pump prime, but it worked. Thanks!
