79 surfside interior lining

Hello everyone,

I'm redoing some of the interior of my Surfside Triple E. I'd like to remove some of that rubbery type lining and replace it with new, but I dont know where to buy it. Does anyone know what this stuff is called|? Is it called Ensolite? I'm wondering also where I can purchase it and what type of glue to stick it on with.

I read something about not using silicon. What's the reason for that?

Thanks

Ed

Ed, you can purchase it on-line here:
ENSOLITE - ENSOLITE PVC-NBR Foam - Order Online
I would use DAP high temp. headliner glue, but you could certainly ask what to use from the company you purchase it from. Silicone does not stick to fiberglass all that well (at least that is what I have heard).
Best of luck.

Ed you may be interested in Ryan's rebuild of the Trillium Sportsman. It's long, but you'll learn a lot. He posted where he bought the ensolite, what he did to prepare the walls, how he hung it and what it cost. YIKES! http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...man-57672.html

Lots of great pictures!

Best of luck
