1972 Boler Furnance
Our pilot works great but we get very minimal heat. Any suggestions?

Does the burner kick in when you turn it up?
Most times, we only need the burner to warm things up initially and the pilot keeps the temperature up. Without a blower the heat rise is gradual.

1, check that the knob is turned all the way on, (past pilot)
2. check for blockages like spider webs
3. possibly the thermocouple

I tried to copy a picture of the controls but wasn't successful. We have the knob completely to on, and the back has been cleaned.
