Here an update on the 1993
Casita 16 deluxe
for sale soon. Got it back from
paint. It was painted with polyurethane and is being wet sanded and buffed to make it shiny and slick. I have ordered custom made decals to be installed on the outside. The theme for this camper is a "South Beach" look and feel.
Casita decals will be in a "art-deco style font" with a palm tree incorporated in the layout. The colors used on this camper will be white/cream, green and tan.
I am replacing those ugly white 13" wheels with a new product I found. It's a 5 spoke/split spoke poished aluminum wheel in 14" with new
tires of course. $320.oo for both but COOL!
Just got the new Carefree of Colorado "Campout" model
awning in yesterday with progressive shades of green stripes, not teal. The arms on this
awning can be attached to the camper or staked in the ground.
Awning was $330.oo. I never liked the factory gawdy 2500 series awning that looks like a bazooka! Way too big.
Looks like new seat covers,
propane tank cover, spare tire cover and AC winter cover too.
I may have a custom made carpet that will go over the original grey carpet...maybe in tan/green? that can be removed for cleaning if wanted.
The
windows will be reinstalled with new sealer and looks like I'm going to dark tint the rear window and maybe the door to add to the beach feel and privacy issue.
Also have tropical theme drapes (palm leaves and such) ready to go too. Call if you want more info, but look to have this finished in about 6 more weeks or less. Chris at 910-391-2561. I'll keep you all posted...Camper in North Carolina
