Hey folks...easy on me.

:E We are looking at all Trailers. The Fiberglass one interest me very much.
I perfer them BUT are there any bigger than 17 ft? I love the Casita's but wife says she may want one bigger. I have been reading this site for about a year. So now I got a vehicle to tow with & now we are looking for something next spring. Thanks for the information.....
We plan to take a trip to Montana from Virginia next year. We will be doing some boondoogling.

Trailer

Jack,

The 17 foot is the largest trailer that Casita makes. Scamp makes a 19 foot 5th wheel, and their largest regular trailer is 16 feet. But these trailers use their space very well. You would have to be inside one to see what I mean. They are great for a couple or maybe a couple with small kids.

If you are looking for something larger, then you should probable look at a Bigfoot , if you want an all fiberglass unit.

If you would like to see a trailer almost anyone will be more than happy to show you theirs. Or you can call Casita and they will give you some telephone numbers of owners in your area.

Good Luck

The only bigger fiberglass one that I know of is the Bigfoot. one size even has a walk around queen size bed. now that is living.

17 foot plus

To go larger than 17 foot and stay fiberglass you have to either go 5th wheel Scamp (not Explorer SUV compatible) or go Canadian (Bigfoot or Oxygen - new. Biggar - antique and very hard to find)

Jack said his wife thought the 17 foot trailers were too small. The Escape is 17 feet long. They recently put 17 feet 2 inches on their website as being the only trailer lenghth offered. I can't see Jack's wife being overly impressed with an extra 2 inches which might be two inches of frame or hitch versus 2 inches of living space.

:yep

As usual, Benita's right. But, I think adding the Escape and the Trillium Outback is appropriate to answer the question, ''which molded fiberglassrv travel trailers are currently in production?''

Somebody did ask that... on that other thread where this discussion started, right? :shg
