I've enjoyed seeing the comments re. the St Malo Vintage rally. I stopped there over-night and had a short visit with Rick and his friends the Wed. bf the beginning of the rally. How I wished I'd had more time to stay for the rally!
I was on my way to BC to visit my son and grandson.
I did this same drive about 6 or 7 years ago, towing my 13'
Trillium. It is still a long, dusty drive across the prairies now as it was then. But I loved seeing our great country day by day rolling passed my
windows as I drove along.
One interesting observation I have to make......
When I made this drive 6 or 7 years ago I did not see any other molded
fiberglass camper. This time I lost count! I saw 3
Scamp 5.0 before I left Mich. Of course one was at St. Malo along with Rick's Boler. Through Man., Sask. and Alberta, I was thrilled to see reconditioned Bolers rolling merrily down the Trans Canada along with a few 13' Trilliums. But I totally lost count of the campers when coming through the Rockies....Several of everything but notably a silver 13'
Trillium, a royal blue Boler and turquoise Boler, an couple Escapes and an Outback.
I would say, these little campers are definitely popular!
