Anyone buy from BusDepot for a AddARoom? Specifically for a Boler

Add-A-Room Shelters | BusDepot.com

My wife and I are thinking about buying one of these for our 1975 13' Boler. Any thoughts?

Looks promising. Proven in the VW market. Unlike most screen rooms, appears to closely attach to your door, and offers a door of its own. I like it.

That is the old school style from Europe. No one is selling it anymore because it is hard to put up. I suspect Bus Depot got a good bargain on them since there is no longer a market for that style in Europe.

There are more modern versions, to see them create an image search using the keywords "caravan porch awning"

You don't see these caravan porch awnings being sold in the USA for some reason but some of the dealers in Europe will ship them to the USA. They fortunately are lighter in weight than the old types and much easier to put up.

We bought, just the canopy, second hand and really enjoy it. The poles on the inside hold it up away from the door, and water does not pool. It takes us about 10 min max. The more you use it the faster you will get. Some of the poles are shock corded as well.

I opened up the seam that was supposed to clamp onto the trailer and put in cording so that it pulls into our awning track.

Since then, we have purchased four panels from Walmart and I have adapted them to fit on the awning to create our own add a room.
