Hi everyone:

I just booked site # 76 ... It will be a tight squeeze for my two teenage daughters and myself and spaniel, Lexxie, but we are looking forward to this camping trip... We usually set up a small tent as well but they don't allow it. Anyhow, I am sooooo looking forward to seeing other fiberglass owners and maybe getting a few tips on things such as installing batteries and using the awning, etc..... (Boler 1977, owned for second summer now)... Sandra

Hi Alf... This will be the first rally for the wife and I. We're booked for Site #52. We have a couple of questions regarding the potluck... What types of dishes do people usually bring? Do we bring our own meat? Is it a barbecue? Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask. If it is, could you direct me to the right place to ask? We're really looking to going and meeting everyone!

Alf brings his FAMOUS beans. Others have brought salads or desserts. Jon baked us a delicious pie decorated with little trailers. Can't Waite to see what he does this year. I'll bring a three item meatball slow cooker meal. A couple of years ago we took some small individual meat loafs. No one has ever gone away hungry from the Sat night feast. Beverage is of personal choice.

I thought wine was mandatory! I'm bringing cheesecake filled chocolate eggs. They should taste good with eiswein.

Thanks, Jim,
Since I still don't have a trailer, they're easy to make ahead at home and freeze. They should be just right by Saturday night

Hi: Meghan... Niagara Wine Escape is a non organized gathering. Other than the campfire Fri. eve and potluck Sat. eve & Sun. brunch at Betty's restaurant if you like... every one makes their own plans for tastings etc. Reservations are not necessary at the wineries...just the campground.

While they probably won't be fresh blueberries this time (unless I find them in Canada since they frown on bringing them across the border) I do have plenty of frozen berries. So, it will be another pie!
